Star of Hope

They came to pray, on Christmas Day
When, the Christ Child was born
They came to see, Virgin Mary
Bear hope for the forlorn. Some from afar, followed that star
Though why, they were not sure
At great expense, brought frankincense
And gifts of spice and myrrh. They gathered ’round, as if spellbound
Their eyes lit by the glow
For, from the bed, o’er Jesus’ head
There was a bright halo. That Child did things, to poor and kings
With the gaze of His eye
He gave some hope, helped others cope
And some, He made them cry. Down on their knees, they said, “Lord, please
Stop pain and suffering.
Make all on Earth, of the same worth
With the joy, that you can bring.”Please teach of love, from God above
Shared, by each fellow man.
Show us the way, what we must say
To fit, the Heavenly plan.”
He tried for years, to end mans’ fears
Brought miracles each day
He taught His word, (not always heard)
And for our souls, He’d pray.
But, it seems greed, had sown its’ seed
For some, ’twas much too late.
And though He cared and, always shared
The Cross had sealed His fate.
Now, all mankind, for being blind
Must someday, pass the test.
But, if lived right, both day and night
Mans’ future could be blessed.
So Christmas Day, take time to pray
To bow your head and see
That God above, will send His love
For all eternity.

Vale la pena cada espina,

cada rosa, cada lágrima que riega lo que florecerá en sonrisa,

porque la vida es maravillosa por ella misma; no importan las penas,

no importa el desamor, porque pasa... todo pasa y el sol vuelve a brillar.
Hay momentos que sentimos que todo está mal,

que nuestras vidas se hunden en un abismo tan profundo,

que no se alcanza a ver ni un pequeño resquicio por el que pase la luz.
En esos momentos debemos tomar todo nuestro amor,

nuestro coraje, nuestros sentimientos, nuestra fuerza y luchar por salir adelante.
Muchas veces nos hemos preguntado si vale la pena

entusiasmarnos de nuevo, y sólo puedo contestar una cosa:

¡Hagamos que nuestra vida valga la pena!

Vale la pena sufrir, porque he aprendido a amar con todo el corazón.
Vale la pena entregar todo, porque cada sonrisa y lágrima son sinceras.
Vale la pena agachar la cabeza y bajar las manos, porque al levantarlas seré más fuerte de corazón.
Vale la pena una lágrima,

porque es el filtro de mis sentimientos, a través de ella me reconozco frágil y me muestro tal cual soy.
Vale la pena cometer errores, porque me da mayor experiencia y objetividad

Vale la pena volver a levantar la cabeza, porque una sola mirada puede llenar ese espacio vacío.
Vale la pena volver a sonreír, porque eso demuestra que he aprendido algo más.
Vale la pena acordarme de todas las cosas malas que me han pasado,

porque ellas forjaron lo que soy el día de hoy.
Vale la pena voltear hacia atrás, porque así sé que he dejado huellas en los demás.
Vale la pena vivir, porque cada minuto que pasa es una oportunidad de volver a empezar.
