ELITERLISA

A new season beginning,
Sun rising, peaks around the bluff.
Early this aurora; a becoming-
Coolness subsides, warmth of radiance aglow.

Through meadows flourished with blush and greenery,
Wither new life emerges from fertile earth.
And critters scour for meal beneath shrubbery,
While hummingbirds gorge on sweet ambrosia.

As I ponder and listen to a Robin sing,
Glistening rain descend from subdue sky.
Wonderment and spirit this time brings,
Magnificent creation of beauty to marvel upon.
