I saw something out my window a couple days ago that told me spring is on the way. It was the very first robin I have seen this year. When the robins come back the spring days can not be far behind. I think this little guy should have waited a few more days before his return as we had 20 degree temps yesterday with snow squalls. I hope he found himself a sheltered place to hunker down, because we do not have hardly any trees in my neighborhood anymore and the ones we do have do not have leaves yet.
Lucky for the early birds ( early as back way too early in the year) I keep some bird seed on hand for them. I feel sorry for them when the weather gets cold, and they have no where to get in away from the cold, so i give them some easy access food to help keep them warm. LOL I just wish they would go to the bathroom in the grass and not on my trash cans and porch lol.
