Millones de personas en Estados Unidos se alistan a consumir

sus comidas tipicas y bebidas como: cervezas, tequilas, refrescos, helados,

chip, tortillas, carne asada, con salsas de chile jalapeño y guacamole,

para celebrar una vez más EL CINCO DE MAYO.

Conmemorandose la batalla de Puebla, ocurrida en 1862,

en la que el Ejercito Mexicano al mando del General Ignacio Zaragoza

derrotò a las tropas del Imperio francés, que habian invadido el país

y eran consideradas las más ponderosas del mundo.

En Mexico, la fecha se celebra con ceremonias oficiales y un desfile cívico

militar que se realiza en la Ciudad de Puebla, sede de la historica batalla.
